StableHealth™ Plus Plan – Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose of the StableHealth™ Plus Plan
The StableHealth™ Plus Plan is designed to support routine preventive care for registered clients and their equines. It is not an insurance policy and does not cover illness, injury, emergencies, or any non-routine treatment.
2. Eligibility & registration
The plan is available only to existing registered clients of the practice.
Each plan covers one equine.
Patients may be enrolled at any time, subject to a current clinical assessment by the practice.
The practice reserves the right to decline enrolment if a patient’s health status requires care beyond routine preventive work.
3. Duration & payments
The StableHealth™ Plus Plan runs for 12 months from the date of enrolment.
Payment must be made in full at the time of enrolment.
Fees are non-refundable once services have been used.
4. Services included in the StableHealth™ Plus Plan
Each enrolled patient is entitled to the following during the 12-month membership:
One annual health check
– Performed during the same visit as the annual vaccination.
– Only one annual health check is included per membership year, regardless of how many additional vaccinations the patient requires.One annual vaccination
– Includes the following vaccines only: Flu/ FT Primary course 1 of 3; Flu/FT 12-month booster; Tetanus Primary course 1 of 2; Tetanus 24-month booster.
– Any second, third, or additional vaccination doses required that year are not included, but the client receives 10% off those vaccine fees. This includes only: Flu/ FT Primary course 2 of 3 and 3 of 3; Flu/FT 6-month booster; Tetanus Primary course 2 of 2.One treatment of routine dental care
– Includes an examination and standard rasping.– All routine dental treatments are performed under a baseline level of sedation, unless contraindicated due to a medical condition.
– Any additional sedation needed (for fractious horses, prolonged procedures, or dental abnormalities) will be charged separately.Two worm egg count (WEC) tests
Sample Collection
a. Worm egg count tests require a fresh stool sample from the patient.
b. We will provide instructions on when the best time of the year to sample is, and how to collect and store the sample to ensure accurate results.
Samples may be submitted using one of the following options:
a. Appointment collection: Our vets may collect a sample during a scheduled appointment, if it lines up with the programme tailored to your equine. Alternatively, the client may provide a sample collected within a few hours of the appointment.
b. On-site collection at the client’s yard (no charge): If our vets are already attending the yard for another appointment, or if collection does not require a diversion exceeding 5 minutes, the sample may be collected free of charge. Clients should allow 2–3 weeks for scheduling convenience.
c. On-site collection at any other time (fee applies): Collection may be arranged at a time convenient to the client for a fee of £10, payable in advance.
d. Postal submission: Clients may post a fresh sample (collected on the same day) to the practice’s registered address.The practice is not responsible for delays or compromised results if samples are not collected, stored, or transported according to the provided instructions.
5. One EquiSal tapeworm saliva test
– Samples for this test must only be collected between March and June or between September and December.
6. One standard wormer
– Selection based on test results and the practice’s parasite-control protocol.
7. 15% off on one lameness assessment (including ridden assessment) per year.
5. Services NOT included
The following are not covered by the StableHealth™ Plus Plan:
Visit fees / call-out charges
Additional or staged vaccinations beyond the single annual vaccination (10% discount applies to these)
Any treatments unrelated to routine preventive care
Emergency call-outs or out-of-hours work
Lameness investigations, diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests (other than the included WEC and tapeworm test)
Dental procedures beyond routine rasping (e.g., extractions, advanced work, wolf-tooth removal)
Sedation beyond the included baseline for routine dentistry
Medication, supplements, or equipment
Pre-purchase examinations
Insurance documentation or report writing
6. Booking & use of services
Included services must be booked in advance and completed within the 12-month plan period.
Unused services do not roll over into the next plan year.
The practice is not obliged to remind clients of outstanding entitlements, although reminders may be offered as a courtesy.
7. Cancellations & early termination
Clients may cancel the plan at any time.
If cancellation occurs after services have been used, the client may be required to pay the difference between the plan cost and the standard fees for services already provided.
The practice may cancel the plan if the client fails to adhere to the T&Cs.
8. Amendments to the plan
The practice may revise fees, services, or conditions of the StableHealth™ Plus Plan with reasonable notice. Clients will be informed of any changes before renewal.
9. Liability
The plan covers only the specific services listed.
The practice is not liable for any costs arising from illness, injury, complications, or issues outside routine care.
Clients remain responsible for scheduling visits and maintaining their equine’s overall healthcare.
10. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.
